Terms of Service
Plopino is a file hosting service available at plopino.com (the “Service”). It stores files you upload and serves them at a public web address. By uploading files, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
You upload files — a folder, a zip archive, or a single file — and the Service returns a link. There are two ways to upload:
- Anonymous upload. No account is required. The board is public and kept for one month, and its content cannot be updated or replaced. The link is shown once and is not recoverable if you lose it — no one, including the operator, can restore it for you.
- Account upload. Content you upload while signed in belongs to your account. Boards are public by default and can be switched to private. You can replace their content at any time; the link stays the same, and the previous content is kept as a version you can delete.
Uploads are subject to limits that depend on whether you are signed in — currently 5 MB per upload and one upload per day without an account, and 50 MB per upload when signed in, up to 500 MB of stored content. There is no limit on how often you may upload while signed in. The operator reserves the right to adjust these quotas.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the files you upload. You grant the operator permission to store, copy, and serve those files for the purpose of operating the Service, and to create the technical previews (for example rendered Markdown or Office documents) needed to display them.
You are responsible for what you upload. You confirm that you hold the rights needed to upload it, and that uploading and sharing it does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to upload, store, or distribute:
- material that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights you do not hold;
- malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive or harm visitors;
- content that is illegal, or that sexualises minors, or that harasses or threatens anyone;
- personal data of others published without their consent;
- spam, bulk unsolicited links, or content whose main purpose is to redirect visitors elsewhere.
Do not attempt to overload, probe, or circumvent the limits of the Service, or use it as storage for content that is not meant to be publicly reachable.
4. Copyright complaints
To report content that infringes your rights, see Report abuse or write to abuse@plopino.com. Include the exact link, a description of the work you own, and a way to reach you. Content that appears to infringe is removed.
5. Removal, expiry, and suspension
Boards are kept until they expire under the retention setting in effect or are deleted. The operator may set an expiry for any board, including permanent ones. Expired boards are deleted, and their files are removed from disk.
The operator may remove any board or file, and may suspend or delete any account, at any time and without notice, if it appears to break these terms or the law.
Deleting a board from your account hides it and its link immediately; the files are retained on disk and may be removed by the operator later.
6. Availability
The Service is provided as it is. There is no promise that it will be available, that a link will keep working, or that content will be preserved. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The Service may change or be discontinued at any time.
7. Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Service — including lost or removed content, broken links, or downtime. Your content is served as you uploaded it; the operator does not review it and is not its publisher.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
